Ruffled church bag

I've been itching to do some crafting. I had this really old metal chest I wanted to convert into a coffee table but there has been one issue after another, not to mention it stinks, literally. For my birthday my in-laws all went in and got me a gift card to Joanne's so that's where I went today to make this same bag I found on my friend's blog, www.sweetcharli.blogspot.com, I've also found a few different ones on pinterest.
I'm under no illusion that my bag turned out as well, but I'm pretty happy with it and I think I did all right on it considering I didn't have a pattern.
